Hi and welcome!

I’m Laura, the life design coach behind Flow ahead.

Flow ahead was born as a space to turn self-awareness into self-design, and overwhelm into lightness and joy. It is your invitation to create a life for yourself that feels spacious, aligned, and inspired.

As I see it, most smart and driven people have plenty of willpower. What they actually need are structures that fit their minds. Because when everything around you is designed for a neurotypical pace, burnout has a way of disguising itself as success.

Therefore, this isn’t just about ADHD. It’s about any human who’s tired of fighting themselves. I deeply believe that our lives shouldn’t require constant recovery from how we live it.

My story from burnout to balance

For most of my life, I worked HARD.

When things went well in my life, it was glorious: competition awards for all kinds of nerdy things, a startup career with maximum freedom, fun times with friends, and adventurous solo travels. Then, when things didn’t go so well, I deeply believed that if I just worked harder, I’d finally feel in control. So I was consistently sprinting… but never quite catching up fully.

Eventually, I hit a kind of burnout I didn’t even know was possible, where even rest doesn’t help. My energy vanished, everything and everyboy annoyed me to the point of tears, and I hardly recognized myself anymore. My body and mind simply refused to play along.

For the first time, I couldn’t ‘fix’ myself or push my way out of it. The recovery took over 2 intense years. Along the way, little by little, I started realizing:

It wasn’t me that was fundamentally broken. My natural pace, my curiosity, my intensity — they were never the problem. The problem was the way I was trying to live.

With help from quite a few wise humans along the way, and through a lot of trial and error, I eventually started rebuilding my life from a place of compassion, not correction. Anchored in my psychology background, I also dove deep into somatics, the nervous system, goal mapping, coaching, and mindfulness. I finally understood how ambitious and sensitive people like us can not just keep up, but thrive. Little by little, I designed a life that works for my brain, that feels spacious, creative, and genuinely sustainable.

Now, I help sensitive and creative people just like you to do the same, before you lose yourself to exhaustion. To stop forcing productivity at the expense of your well-being, come back to balance, and start taking control of your life in a way that fits your flow.

My approach to coaching

Think of me as your personal guide, thought partner, pattern recognizer, accountability partner, and occasional cheerleader. I’m here to help you turn your big dreams into a life that you can enjoy.

Coaching, at its core, is about focusing on your future rather than dwelling on your past. It’s about clarifying what you truly want, your values, rhythms, and real-life context, identifying the obstacles in your way, and building practical systems to reach your goals, that make perfect sense for you and you only.

It’s a blend of science, compassion, and experimentation. We explore how your brain works, what your nervous system needs, and how to shape your environment so your daily life feels good on your terms, rather than anyone else’s ‘should’s.
